DJ Tommy Gatz and Intern John of The Kane Show Conclude the Peer Pressure Comedy Tour with iHeartRadio Station Hot 99.5 at Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.

What a run it has been. The 2017 Peer Pressure Comedy Show Tour recently concluded at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.

Spanning eight sold-out shows across numerous states, the tour was created by Intern John of iHeartRadio station Hot 99.5’s The Kane Show to raise money for the Fisher House Foundation and his friend Mimi. Military veteran Mimi received treatment from Fisher House, which is how the organization was chosen. The nonprofit provides military families assistance while their loved ones are being hospitalized due to an injury or illness.

Initially, it began as a one-night only event in Bethesda, Maryland with Hot 99.5. However, it quickly sold out and more stops were added. A tour was born! Additional cities included Arlington (Virginia), Louisville (Kentucky), Baltimore (Maryland) and St. Petersburg (Florida), with iHeartRadio stations Z104.3 and 93.3 FLZ.

Intern John reached out to DJ Tommy Gatz and wanted him to be a part of the tour as his DJ and MC but as the vision grew rapidly, Intern John asked DJ Tommy Gatz and his team at Tommy Gatz Entertainment to help produce the show. Responsibilities for Tommy included coordination, branding, creating live music and mixes, developing logos, and capturing moments via professional photography and cinematography.

It has been an incredible journey with DJ Tommy Gatz feeling extreme gratitude that Intern John gave him the opportunity to work side by side as his DJ and Tommy Gatz Entertainment as his event production company on the tour. The tour was a huge success and every show was sold out!

Stay tuned to hear about more potential events! You wouldn’t want to miss out now, would you?
